Energy Research Laboratory

 

This is basically experimental lab meant for exploring the polymeric material [ion conducting as well as electron conducting] suitable for energy storage/conversion devices such as supercapacitors, batteries, fuel cells etc. Some of the major equipments available or to be procured in our lab are listed below:

•  Computer controlled Electrochemical Workstation [CHI 608 C] for characterizing prototype supercapacitors etc.,

•  Computer controlled LCR Meter Bridge [HIOKI] (To be procured under the above said project of DST) for characterizing different materials and proto type devices with the help of impedance spectroscopy techniques.

•  Vacuum Oven.

•  Temperature Controller.

•  Digital Balance.

•  Cooling System.

•  Magnetic Stirrer with hot plates.

•  Distillation Units.

•  Nitrogen Cylinder.

•  Vacuum Pump.

•  Vacuum Desiccators and Ordinary Desiccators.

•  PH-Meter Digital.

•  Digital Multimeter.

•  Soldering Iron etc.
