The department of Humanities and Social Sciences plays an important role in overall personality development of the buddy engineers by imparting courses on communication skills and professional management. The department offers courses with management orientation to provide students with adequate managerial know-how necessary for being a successful techno-commercial professional. 


Besides lectures and tutorials, the department uses various innovative techniques for grooming the professionals. Report Writing, Resume Writing, Group Discussions, Mock Interviews, Debates and Audio-Visual Presentations are conducted to improve the oral and written communication. Methods like Case Studies, Role Plays and Discussions on Articles are used to impart managerial talent. Several indoor and outdoor games on Leadership Development, Team Building, Motivation and Conflict Handling etc. are organized throughout the semester.
