Training and Placement Cell
Partnership with industry is sought to render the student readily employable upon graduation immediately. In addition, it provides the student with a better command to plan his/her career. Furthermore, it influences his/her choice of technical electives and graduation project.
Keeping this in mind, the Industrial Training Cell has been established in Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology.
Although each employer exposes our students to different professional practices and cultures, we emphasize that our students gain expertise in the following areas (beside the technical edge):

Each student is required to participate in six week industrial program at the end of third year. Students are required to collect various information of a particular industry and maintain a diary. In addition to training the students are also required to work on the project, if assigned by the company. The daily diary is signed by the authorized company personnel. The student submits project report to the institute at the end of training period along with the diary and training certificate. Students have to give a training seminar and a viva-voce examination is conducted after the seminar. The evaluation scheme is as follows :
1. Report and Daily Dairy Evaluation : 65%
2. Presentation / seminar : 15 %
3. Viva-Voce : 20 % |
