National Conference on Education & Research

(ConfER 2010)

As India’s largest and one of the world’s earliest IT professional organizations, the CSI has always aimed at promoting education and research activities through conventions, seminars and workshops.  The  technical divisions of Computer Society of India  organize the national/international conferences such as BIG, COMAD, ConSEG, COMNET, ConfER etc. Among these, the National Conferences on Education and Research (ConfER) is the latest addition – an initiative of Division V (Education & Research) with following aim and objectives:

  1. To facilitate interaction and collaboration among academicians, researchers and practitioners.
  2. To enrich participants through technical paper presentations, tutorials, workshops and exhibitions.
  3. To showcase state/territory-specific education/research competence and identify growth areas.
  4. To promote innovation through presentation excellence awards for path-breaking projects.
  5. To prepare ‘GenNext IT Professionals’ through workshops, career guidance and entrepreneurship support.

The Third National Conference on Education & Research on the theme “Impact of Globalization and Privatization on meeting India's IT HR Needs”, 6-7 March 2010 (ConfER-2010), will be organized by the CSI Division V (Education & Research), Region - III, in association with Computer Society of India - Bhopal Chapter, IEEE MP subsection of Bombay section, Madhya Pradesh Council of Science & Technology, Bhopal, MP and Jaypee Institute of Engineering & Technology (JIET), Guna, Madhya Pradesh.
