Jaypee Institute of Engineering and Technology

Jaypee Institute of Engineering and Technology (JIET) established in the year 2003, is one of three endeavors of higher learning in the field of Engineering education established under the Jaiprakash Sewa Sansthan (JSS) educational initiative, which recognizes the role of IT and emerging technologies in improving the quality of life of the people of India. The JIET campus on the national highway linking Agra to Mumbai is being developed on 100 acre as a modern institution of higher learning in the field of Engineering and Technology education. It aims to produce professionals who can be leaders in innovation, entrepreneurship, creativity and management. The lush-green campus houses Academic blocks, Laboratories, Library, Separate Hostels for girls and boys, Faculty and Staff residences, Indoor and Outdoor facilities for extra curricular activities and a CBSE standard school. Currently over 1200 students and 75 faculty members reside inside the campus. Presently the institute offers 4 year B Tech programme in ECE, CSE, Chemical, Civil, Mechanical engineering. Postgraduate programmes are being offered in all engineering department and Ph. D. programmes are available in all branches including sciences.
